Two information sessions
During the first two weeks of the semester, students meet the team, learn about the fellowship, and ask questions.

No finance background required.
We look for curious, collaborative Duke students who want to learn about startups and venture capital. Recruitment typically takes place at the beginning of each semester.

Recruitment events
Applicants attend community and educational events that introduce the chapter, its members, and the work fellows complete.

Written application
Students share their interest in venture, what they hope to learn, and the perspective they would bring to the cohort.

Second-round interviews
Selected applicants receive an invitation to a conversational interview with members of the executive board.

Decisions
Final decisions are shared after interviews, followed by onboarding for the new fellowship cohort.
