Everything you need to know about Girls Into VC @ Duke, the fellowship, and recruitment.
Duke undergraduate students interested in venture capital, startups, entrepreneurship, or learning how investors evaluate new ideas may apply. We welcome students across majors.
Fellows learn venture fundamentals such as sourcing, market sizing, diligence, investment theses, and pitching. The program also includes speaker conversations and hands-on projects.
Fellows should plan to attend weekly sessions and complete collaborative work for the externship and capstone. Exact expectations are shared during each semester’s information sessions.
Recruitment typically begins at the start of the semester with two information sessions during the first two weeks, followed by recruitment events, applications, interviews, and decisions.
The interview is a conversation about your interests, curiosity, goals, and what you hope to contribute to the cohort. We do not expect applicants to already be VC experts.
Many chapter-wide speaker events and programs are open to the broader Duke community. Event eligibility and registration details are shared on our Instagram.
